Custom fitting.
What do we offer?
Here at Cleckheaton we understand the importance of having the right clubs in your bag, for both performance and confidence. Fitting options include:
Full bag fitting available using FlightScope X3, putter fittings using SAM PUTT Lab and wedge fittings using FlightScope X3 and our fantastic short game area.
Long Game Fitting:
Using state of the art FlightScope X3 technology, areas for development and progress are clearly visible. A common thing we hear is that ‘custom fitting is only for low-handicap golfers’. In reality, players of all skills and levels benefit from having custom fittings. Custom fitting is a process of matching equipment to player’s unique physical attributes, swing characteristics and playing style.
We access: club length, shaft flex and shaft material, grip size, clubhead design and loft, lie angle, swing speed, distance and shaft weight.
Putter Fitting:
You can experience a Professional Putter Fitting with SAM PuttLab Technology. During your fitting with our expert PGA professionals, you'll be guided through every detail you need to know to improve your putting. Using state-of-the-art SAM PuttLab technology, we’ll provide an incredibly in-depth analysis of your putting stroke, helping you discover which new putter can take your game to the next level.
Cost:
£75 for a 1 hour fitting, refundable upon purchase.
Price match options available.
SAM PuttLab.
Some of SAM PuttLab’s core features include:
70+ putting parameters measured (even basic editions cover 28–41 metrics) for both technique and consistency.
Advanced technology creates a customisable report with over 80 templates.
The technology provides instant insights into stroke flaws.
Flight Scope X3.
FlightScope is a radar-/camera-based launch monitor that measures ball and club data for golfers. Some key capabilities:
They use Doppler radar (3D Doppler tracking) plus image processing (in higher models) to track ball flight, spin, carry, etc.
They provide a range of “data parameters” — e.g., ball speed, clubhead speed, launch angle, spin rate, carry distance, etc.
They integrate with apps and software (for analysis, simulation, etc).
‘You get objective feedback on every shot’
Club speed – how fast you’re swinging
Ball speed – how efficiently you’re transferring energy
Launch angle – if you’re launching too high or too low
Spin rate – crucial for distance and control
Carry distance – how far the ball actually flies
Face angle / club path (on advanced models) – tells you why your shot curved
This turns every practice session into a measurable test, not guesswork.
‘Not only do you have Lee’s expertise, the facilities are absolutely incredible. It was incredibly easy to book a fitting and I had every option possible offered to me. Plus, i was able to price match to get the best possible deal!’
